Oona Rug

Oona is a play between shapes and contrasts. Clean lines and soft curves meet each other and go to create unique shapes that are neither round nor rectangle. A simple, immersed line of a darker shade breaks up the plain colour of the surface.

Simon Legald explains: ”I have tried to create a rug where it is primarily the shape that makes it decorative. I have added a sharp line, which is a simple detail that accentuates the shape by creating asymmetry and works as a visual contrast to the soft rounded edges.”

The Oona rugs are handmade from 100% New Zealand Wool and come in five colours; grey, mint, rose, blue and sand.
