Belvedere

Belvedere is the latest creation of Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The design is the result of a meeting between the refined heritage of traditional Viennese chairs and Kartell research into advanced materials and solutions. Viennese wickerwork combines with a frame of recycled plastic to create a lightweight, modern product.

Though in apparent contrast, the two materials dialogue effectively to create an original stylistic blend. The result is a perfect balance between craftsmanship and technology, past and future. Rather than simply paying homage to tradition, Belvedere re-interprets it with a view to the future, creating a whole new aesthetic.
