Remo Wood Chair

Remo is a plywood chair that merges Plank’s artisanal heritage with the latest manufacturing technologies. The company has been producing wooden furniture since it was founded in 1893, and Remo evokes this legacy of craftsmanship through its treatment of a noble and familiar material. German designer Konstantin Grcic used plywood’s lightweight properties to develop a simple and versatile chair that continues the tradition of innovative furniture made from this laminated material.

Remo’s defining feature is a sophisticated interlocking joint that attaches the curved shell of the seat and back to a horizontal back rest. This two-piece construction requires a combination of mechanical production and hand-finishing that results in a strong and exceptionally comfortable seat. This version is available as stackable as well as non-stackable, to suit both practical users and those careful to detail.

Available in natural finished ash or stained in the colours chalk, walnut, grey, black.
