Lambert & Fils presented new and exisiting designs at the 2025 Salone del Mobile.
Lambert & Fils is a Montreal-based studio specialising in handmade lighting. Founded in 2010 by Samuel Lambert, the studio creates original lighting collections and collaborates with internationally renowned designers. Committed to maintaining a strong link between design and craftsmanship, Lambert & Fils conceives, develops, and assembles all its products in its Montreal workshop.
Pierre Laramée, a prominent figure in Montrealʼs design scene and founder of the gallery commissaires, organised Kwangho Leeʼs first North American exhibition in 2008. He played a key role in introducing Lee to Samuel Lambert, firmly believing that their mutual admiration would lead to the creation of a remarkable collection.
Born in 1981, Kwangho Lee grew up in a small town near Seoul, South Korea, and graduated from Hongik University, where he studied metal art and design. Recognised for his artisanal and experimental approach to the design of objects and furniture, he gives new meaning and new function to the most ordinary. His pieces depict the moment when materials meet (or unite).
Lee explores raw materials and traditional techniques to create unique sculptural pieces. His work has been exhibited in international galleries and museums, affirming his influence in contemporary design.

Bolda, the new and unconventional collection, debuts during Milan Design Week, at Salone del Mobile.
For several years now, Kwangho Lee has been perfecting copper enameling, inspired by chilbo, a traditional Korean decorative art. This technique involves applying coloured glass powder to metal, then melting it at a high temperature. Chilbo was originally used to decorate small objects, but Lee now adapts it to large-scale furniture pieces. This change of scale gives the enamel a shimmering, irregular effect, which dictated the name of the collection, Bolda – a term evoking tranquil waves and breezes, characteristic of Jeju Island, where Lee lives and finds his inspiration.
Bolda will be available as a suspended pendant or wall light. For product release dates subscribe here.
By exploring new design technologies, the studio continuously redefines the forms that light can take, emphasizing volume, negative space, and the raw materials that inspire creation.
Ipoli was on display at the fair. It is a decorative multifunctional collection centered on the movement of playful swiveling heads atop a slender base. The collection draws inspiration from the design tradition of utilitarian, streamlined task lamps and office lighting, while enfolding Lambert & Fils’ unique twist, both poetic and sturdy. Whether employed as a task light, ambient accent, or focal point, each piece will delight any space.
