Lambert & Fils – Isle Collection

Some lights do more than brighten a room. They create a feeling. Isle by Lambert & Fils is one of those rare designs that quietly draws you in, inviting you to look a little closer.

Designed in collaboration with Canadian designer Zoë Mowat, the Isle collection plays with balance, contrast and perception. A softly glowing glass tube appears to rest gently between solid supports, creating the illusion of weightlessness. Stone bases and refined aluminium details ground the design, giving the light a sculptural presence without ever feeling heavy.

What makes Isle so special is the way it balances strength and softness. The frosted glass diffuses light evenly along its length, creating a warm, calm glow that works beautifully in both residential and commercial spaces. It can stand alone as a single statement piece or be grouped in multiples to form a striking linear arrangement. However it is used, Isle feels intentional and considered.

The designer behind the collection, Zoë Mowat, is known for her thoughtful and expressive approach to form and colour. Since founding her studio in 2010, Zoë has built an international reputation for work that feels both playful and precise. Now based in New York, she has exhibited globally and taught at leading design schools including Parsons and Pratt Institute. Her work often explores how objects interact with people and spaces, and that sensitivity is evident throughout the Isle collection.

Zoë describes Isle as an exploration of contrast, where light and material work together to create something quietly unexpected. It is this balance that makes the design so compelling. Nothing feels overworked, yet every detail has purpose.
