Standing at the edge of Wellington’s waterfront, the Odlins Building is a reminder of the city’s long relationship with the sea, industry, and movement. Its distinctive presence reflects a period when the waterfront was shaped as much by commerce and working life as it is today by dining, culture, and recreation.
Set against the harbour, the building carries a character that feels distinctly Wellington: practical, weathered, architectural, and connected to the water. Today, the Odlins Building sits within one of the city’s most recognisable waterfront precincts, where its historic identity meets a constantly changing urban landscape.
More than simply a building, Odlins is part of Wellington’s waterfront story—a place where the city’s industrial past and contemporary character meet.
Our locally made JWB Armchair was selected in a wool upholstery and paired with the Slow Oval Coffee Table by Stellar Works.
Working closely with the body corporate and Warren & Mahoney architects, we helped refresh the apartment-level foyer within Wellington’s heritage-listed Odlins Building, creating a space that respects the building’s character while introducing a refined contemporary feel.
